Edge Therapy

My name is Sarah Edge and I am a qualified person centred therapist working privately from home in Sale, Manchester. I am also employed by a national charity, running a school based counselling project in city centre Manchester. I have experience working with women and children in various settings, including a women's centre, schools and helplines. I have experience as both a personal counsellor and supervisor.

I qualified as a counsellor in 2012 and have since gone on to further postgraduate study. I have both an undergraduate and postgraduate diploma in counselling and psychotherapy. I work in a predominantly person- centred way, with knowledge of other models and theories.

I am a registered member of BACP and abide by BACP ethical principles. I have appropriate insurance, and registration with the ICO, to work from home, receiving regular supervision.

• Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy

• Level 4 Certificate in Children’s Counselling

• Integrated Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling

• PGCE Psychology

• BSc (Hons) Psychology

I undergo regular further training as part of my role.
